Professional experience
My early professional experience focused on areas where I was able to apply management knowledge and skills to jobs which I felt helped people: as a counselor in a job program for disadvantaged youth, a consultant specialized in socioeconomic development projects, and as a manager in a public-private business center for newly established SMEs.

My vocation has been specifically targeted at developing people since 1999, when I joined a local business school in Barcelona as Director of MBA programs. Although initially I was mainly tasked with managing an important period of transition, growth and internationalization of the MBA programs, I was surprised to discover a talent and passion for facilitating classes and workshops for development of professional competencies , which I still do as Associate Faculty member.

I have been actively coaching since 2002, and I currently work as a freelance trainer and coach in collaboration with different organizations, most notably the Center for Creative Leadership. My work centers around helping organizations to develop their leaders more fully, supporting them in the challenge of leading effectively in an environment of constant change.

Biografical info
I'm originally from the USA, state of Montana. I've lived in Spain since 1986, and currently reside with my two children and a dog in an old country house in the Penedès wine region near Barcelona.
